Michele is an experienced Chicago litigator who has handled multi-million dollar cases throughout her notable legal career. A former president of the Scottish Terrier Club of Chicago, Michele is the proud parent of Robbie and Brody. She has traveled extensively, and enjoys a good round of golf.
Since 2013, Carlos has been a Medical College of Wisconsin, division of infectious diseases, faculty member. His research in infection prevention, atypical mycobacterial infections, and COVID-19 infection has been published in peer-reviewed journals and national medical conferences.
He completed his residency in internal medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin, followed by a two-year fellowship in infectious diseases at Creighton University School of Medicine, and a master's degree in biomedical informatics. He is board certified in internal medicine, infectious diseases, and clinical informatics, and is a fellow of the American College of Physicians.
Teresa, the mastermind behind our Advances in Lymphedema Care Conferences, Wisconsin's first and only of its kind, has devoted her life to caring for and advocating on behalf of her patients. A recognized Lymphedema authority, she holds a doctorate in physical therapy.
Cheryl brings to HEW her knowledge of finance and nonprofits. She has worked with large corporations as well as nonprofits in the Twin Cities area during her 20+ year career as an accountant and systems manager. She substitute teaches, and is an active volunteer in her church, community, and local schools.
Evelyn possesses extensive business experience in a wide range of industries. She is an experienced gardener, an active community volunteer, and a master in the fine art of complicated tie-dye.
HEW Founder & CEO, Jennifer, co-owner of Edmondson Law Office, has been an attorney for over 37 years. She is a survivor of metastatic breast cancer and Lymphedema.

In 2011, Jennifer was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer, and later developed Lymphedema. Aggressive cancer treatments, including surgeries, chemotherapy, and radiation resulted in great physical and emotional pain. She decided to use her pain and suffering to fuel her work in helping others.
She founded Health, Education & Welfare in May 2018.
